The aims of the Association are as follows:
1. organisation, development and popularisation of football as a sport, including amateur and non-amateur (professional) football in territory of the Republic of Belarus;
2. protection of rights and legal interests, co-ordination of the activities of the Members of the Association;
3. organisation of competitions in football in all its forms at the national level, determination of the scope of powers of the Members of the Association. The Association may delegate the authority to organise and conduct national football competitions. The competitions organised by the Regional Football Federations, other organs and organisations cannot interfere with those competitions organised by BFF. If this is the case, competitions organised by BFF take priority;
4. representation and protection of legal interests of the Members of the Association in the bodies of State power, local self-government, courts, other organisations;
5. attraction of investments into the Belarusian football, usage (attraction) of the world experience (specialists) in the field of football marketing and business for implementation of the statutory aims of the BFF;
6. development of the infrastructure of Belarusian football clubs pursuant to the requirements of FIFA and UEFA;
7. control and management of all football matches, in all categories and at all levels, held in the territory of the Republic of Belarus;
8. development of international sports relations, in the field of all forms of football;
9. improvement of the system of training of football players of the top international class;
10. formation of the national teams of the Republic of Belarus and ensuring their successful protrusions in international competitions;
11. creation of conditions for development of club football in the Republic;
12. rendering of every possible aid and assistance to Football Federations and football clubs in training of the reserves, in organisation of competitions, retraining and improvement of professional skills of coaches and referees;
13. solution of other problems relating to the cause of development, popularisation, propagation and representation of Belarusian football as a sport, an important social phenomenon, a leisure and a show.
The aims and the subject of activities:
The aims and the subject of activities the Association are as follows:
1. development of directions, implementation of football development programs in the country, including women's football and mini-football (futsal);
2. management of the Belarusian football, co-ordination of actions connected with management and representation of football in the Republic of Belarus;
3. organisation, holding and management of the national system of football (including futsal) competitions, international and other football competitions among the national and club teams in the territory of the Republic of Belarus;
4. definition of plans of national (domestic) football competitions, elaboration and approval of regulations, rules, calendars (etc.) of holding championships, games for the cups and other competitions held by the Association (the national level), while Football Federations shall define likewise within the limits of their competence and according to the Association requirements;
5. definition, together with Regional Football Federations, of plans of development and popularisation of football in the regions of the country, control of their fulfilment and co-ordination of activities of Regional Football Federations;
6. selection and appointment of relevant specialists (coaches, managers, doctors, etc.) for work in the national and representative teams of the Republic of Belarus;
7. formation of national teams of the Republic of Belarus, other representative teams for participation in qualifying tournaments, finals of FIFA World Cups, European Championships, Olympic Games, other international competitions;
8. ensuring of participation of Belarusian club teams in official international competitions;
9. co-operation, organisation and maintenance of contacts with other national football associations, FIFA and UEFA, representation of interests of the Members of the Association in these international organisations, joint participation with them in implementation of objectives and aims of FIFA and UEFA;
10. implementation, pursuant to Statutes of the BFF, FIFA and UEFA, of the rights and authorities on organisation of TV and radio broadcasts of football matches, advertising, marketing, international and internal transfers of players;
11. undertaking of relevant measures for training coaches, athletes, referees, instructors, functionaries, and also other permanent staff of football clubs;
12. decision making and also establishment of obligatory norms and rules concerning football management in the Republic of Belarus pursuant to the Belarusian legislation and requirements of FIFA and UEFA;
13. warranting of usage in football competitions, held in the Republic of Belarus, of the Laws of the Game, of the Fair Play principle;
14. execution of control and supervision over observance by the Members of the Association, their officials and their staff, and also by football referees, who are officiating at the competitions of the Association, of the present Statutes, regulations, rules, directives and other acts of the BFF, of relevant documents of FIFA and UEFA;
15. protection of rights and legitimate interests of the Members of the Association;
16. resolution of disputes, arising between the Members of the Association in connection with their football activities;
17. imposition of punishment on the Members of the Association who have committed violations of the Statutes, regulations, rules, directives and other acts of the BFF pursuant to the present Statutes, regulations and other acts of the BFF;
18. keeping the accounting, statistics, documentation, archive materials, collection of football attributes of the Members of the BFF, issuance of annual reports on the basis of these documents, and also issuance of information materials concerning the activities of the Association;
19. determination of the best football players, coaches, supporters and etc., preparation of documents, materials, etc. for the Hall of Belarusian Football Fame, the principles of organisation thereof to be determined by special regulations of the BFF;
20. maintenance of permanent contacts with mass media for implementation of the information policy of the Association;
21. issuance of decrees and directives concerning maintenance of order and safety during holding of competitions under the aegis of the BFF at sports facilities;
22. active counteraction to any negative phenomena, which prevent the BFF from executing properly its functions of managing the Belarusian football;
23. attracting of financial capitals for association objectives realization, obtaining, distributing and using of humanitarian aid in compliance with Belarusian legislation in force;
24. definition of the position, opinion of the Association on all essential issues of football development, both in the country and abroad;
25. nomination of candidatures for work in commissions and departments of FIFA and UEFA;
26. submission of proposals, expression of the common opinion of the Members of the Association to State bodies on the issues concerning construction of sports sites, improvement of the material-technical basis of Belarusian football, and if necessary, participation, alone or in co-operation with the relevant State bodies, in construction of such sites;
27. support of activities of sports children-youth schools, which have football departments;
28. elaboration of the rules of financial relationships between the BFF, football clubs and sports children-youth schools;
29. issuance to football clubs a licence for the participation in football competitions of the Association and UEFA;
30. issuance of licenses to coaches, referees, managers, agents of players and other persons, whose activities require a relevant permit according to the norms of the BFF;
31. participation in elaboration of national and regional programs aimed at ensuring financial, material-technical and other, the governmental inclusive, support of the Belarusian football, its popularisation, propaganda and improvement;
32. rendering of information, methodological and consulting assistance to the Members of the Association on legal, financial, economic and other issues, rendering of other assistance in their football activities;
33. development of economic relations of the Members of the Association;
34. scientific activities, elaboration and issuance of methodical, information materials on football issues;
35. generalisation of the experience of activities of the Members of the Association;
36. execution of production-economic and foreign economic activities in the order established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and property renting in the established order for the achievement of statutory aims of the Association;
37. implementation of the rights of the Members of the Association, delivered by them to the BFF in the established order.
